HIV,no longer fatal

HIV can no longer b considered a fatal disease,but rather a chrinic condition lik diabetes.The life span of HIV patients has increased by 13 yrs since d introduction of drug combinations known as highly active antiretrovial therapy,or HAART,which suppress the virus.Between 1996-99 and 2003-05,der was a gain of about 13 yrs in life expectancy for those who started treatment at 20 yrs of age.
